The Callaghan Innovation Industry 4.0 Demonstration Network Programme has been completed, producing three major resources for New Zealand manufacturers.

Case Studies Collection

The programme has compiled 67 manufacturing case studies demonstrating how companies are implementing Industry 4.0 technologies. Twelve new studies were added to an existing collection of 45 cases. These resources aim to help manufacturers understand real-world applications of Industry 4.0 and support their digital transformation efforts by illustrating tangible benefits and practical approaches.

Manufacturing Execution Systems Guide

A new buyer's guide addresses gaps in manufacturer knowledge about MES technology. The guide covers what MES is, why it matters, implementation approaches, and current adopters and providers. It provides clear insights, real examples, and practical lessons to help manufacturers improve shop floor productivity through integrated technology solutions.

Industry 4.0 Survey Results

The programme released 2025 Industry 4.0 insights survey findings, offering data-driven perspectives on adoption trends across the manufacturing sector.

These resources collectively aim to empower New Zealand manufacturers to innovate confidently and accelerate their digital transformation journeys.
