Advancing Manufacturing Aotearoa (AMA) is excited to be exhibiting at the 2026 Tahatu NZ Careers Expo across five regions - Christchurch, Dunedin, Wellington, Hamilton, Auckland.
These expos connect high school students, tertiary students, job seekers, and early‑career talent with organisations shaping New Zealand’s future workforce. Each event attracts thousands of visitors seeking study options, training pathways, and career opportunities.
Last week, we collaborated in Christchurch with HamiltonJet, Argus Manutech, ENI Manufacturing each showcasing what they do, the projects they deliver, and the diverse career pathways available across advanced manufacturing, precision engineering, medical/industrial technology, engineering fabrication & environmental/industrial solutions, marine propulsion & advanced maritime manufacturing and more!
This is a fantastic chance for students to engage directly with industry and gain real insights into future career options in modern manufacturing.
This week, we were in Dunedin with United Machinists, Todd Engineering, FARRA Engineering and Scott Technologies.
At every expo, AMA will host four participating employers, each showcasing what they do, the projects they deliver, and the diverse career pathways available across the infrastructure and engineering sector. This is a fantastic chance for students to engage directly with industry professionals and gain real insights into future career options.
