Advancing Manufacturing Aotearoa is excited to partner with the team at Hardware Meetup NZ for their Auckland event 23rd April. This session will dive into one of the biggest challenges of bringing a physical product to market — manufacturing. You’ll hear firsthand from our speakers about their experiences navigating production, whether in-house or outsourced, locally or overseas. We’ve already lined up some fantastic speakers:
* Anna Glucina and Anthony Glucina (Define Instruments — a husband-and-wife team building a successful hardware company. They’ll share their journey and the realities of manufacturing their product range.
* Athir Jaaz (Fisher & Paykel Appliances) — bringing a large-scale, enterprise perspective on manufacturing.
* Matthew Taylor (ENL) - an R&D software and electronics engineer for 18 years and as an R&D Manager for 7 years for Electronic Navigation Limited. He leads a team that designs multibeam sonar products from concept through to production. These products are designed and built in Auckland and shipped all over the world.
